29 CFR 1926.1060(a)(1)(iii):The employer did not ensure that each employee using ladders and stairways had been trained by a competent person in the proper construction, use, placement, and care in handling of all stairways and ladders: (a) Jobsite located at 140 N 50th St Philadelphia, PA 19139: On or about April 19, 2024, the employer did not ensure that each employee required to use a ladder to access various levels of the residence to perform framing and exterior siding activities, such as but not limited to Werner Job Master type II commercial ladder, model D1232-2had been trained by a competent person in the proper construction, use, placement, and care in handling of all stairways and ladders. Employees were required to use ladders to access various levels of the residential structure in order to perform painting, framing and siding work without proper training, thereby exposing them to fall hazards.
