29 CFR 1910.178(m)(5)(ii): A powered industrial truck shall not be left unattended when the operator is 25 ft. or more away from the vehicle which remains in view, or whenever the operator leaves the vehicle, and it is not in view. a. On or about March 19, 2024, in the southwest corner of warehouse, employees were exposed to struck-by and crush-by hazards due to a powered industrial truck operator leaving vehicle unattended and not in view while operating.
