29 CFR 1910.147(c)(6)(ii):The employer did not certify that periodic inspections of the energy control procedures had been performed: a) 1389 School House Road, Delaware City, DE 19706: On or about January 3, 2024, a periodic inspection and certification was not conducted for the developed energy control procedures for the # 6020-008 Blower Motor Cards Granulator clearly identified specific steps to be followed to control hazardous energy for equipment located on various equipment on which employees service and maintenance duties. b) 1389 School House Road, Delaware City, DE 19706: On or about January 3, 2024, a periodic inspection and certification was not conducted for the developed energy control procedures for the # 6020-009 Cards Granulator clearly identified specific steps to be followed to control hazardous energy for equipment located on various equipment on which employees service and maintenance duties. c) 1389 School House Road, Delaware City, DE 19706: On or about January 3, 2024, a periodic inspection and certification was not conducted for the developed energy control procedures for the # 6020-010 Pharma Granulator clearly identified specific steps to be followed to control hazardous energy for equipment located on various equipment on which employees service and maintenance duties. d) 1389 School House Road, Delaware City, DE 19706: On or about January 3, 2024, a periodic inspection and certification was not conducted for the developed energy control procedures for the # 6020-011 Blower Motor Pharma Granulator clearly identified specific steps to be followed to control hazardous energy for equipment located on various equipment on which employees service and maintenance duties. Abatement Note: 1. Where lockout should be used for energy control, the periodic inspection shall include a review, between the inspector and each authorized employee, of that employee's responsibilities under the energy control procedure being inspected.1910.147(c)(6)(i)(D) 2. Where tagout should be used for energy control, the periodic inspection shall include a review, between the inspector and each authorized and affected employee, of that employee's responsibilities under the energy control procedure being inspected, and the elements set forth in paragraph (c)(7)(ii) of this section.1910.147(c)(6)(ii) 3. The employer shall certify that the periodic inspections have been performed. The certification shall identify the machine or equipment on which the energy control procedure was being utilized, the date of the inspection, the employees included in the inspection, and the person performing the inspection.
