Text For Citation: 01 Item/Group: 002B Hazard:
29 CFR 1926.503(a)(1):The employer shall provide a training program for each employee who might be exposed to fall hazards. The program shall enable each employee to recognize the hazards of falling and shall train each employee in the procedures to be followed in order to minimize these hazards. a) On or about November 20, 2024, the employer did not ensure that employees were trained on fall protection and fall hazard recognition while performing framing activities on a residential home. Employees were exposed to fall hazards greater than 9 feet. Super Builders, LLC was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1926.503(a)(1), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1629121, citation number 1, item number 3 and was affirmed as a final order on November 3, 2022, with respect to a workplace located at 5223 Hazeltine Ln Lebanon, OH 45036.
