29 CFR 1910.132(d)(2): The employer did not verify, through a written certification, that the required workplace hazard assessment had been performed: a.) Saegertown Dairy Inn, on or about October 1st, 2023 and times prior thereto: Employees were working with and around hot oil during work tasks including, but not limited to, filtration of hot oil. The employer did not maintain a certified workplace hazard assessment to indicate the personal protective equipment that was required to be worn during work operations onsite. ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION REQUIRED: Abatement certification is required within 10 days after the abatement date noted on the citation (see below). This certification shall include a statement that abatement is complete, the date abatement was completed, method of abatement, and state that employees and their representatives were informed of this abatement.
