29 CFR 1910.178(m)(5): A powered industrial truck was left unattended when the operator was 25 feet or more away from the vehicle which remained in view, or whenever the operator left the vehicle and it was not in view, and the load engaging means were not fully lowered, controls neutralized, power shut off, and brakes set: (a)Core Framing, LLC at 5501 - 5503 & 5505 - 5507 South Huntwood Avenue, Sioux Falls, SD 57110: On or about and at times prior to July 13, 2023 , the exposing employer did not ensure the operators of the Terex model, TH1056C were within 25 feet of the lifts when in use. This condition exposed employees to struck-by and crushing hazards associated with unattended movement of the telehandler.. (b)Core Framing, LLC at 5501 - 5503 & 5505 - 5507 South Huntwood Avenue, Sioux Falls, SD 57110: On or about and at times prior to July 13, 2023 , the exposing employer did not ensure the operators of the JLG model 6042 were within 25 feet of the lifts when in use. This condition exposed employees to struck-by and crushing hazards associated with unattended movement of the telehandler..
