29 CFR 1910.147(c)(7):The employer did not provide training to ensure that the purpose and function of energy control program are understood by employees and that the knowledge and skills required for the safe application, usage, and removal of the energy controls are required by employees. (a) Press #38: On or about June 21, 2023 and at times prior, employees removing stuck parts from machine #38, a Mitsubishi 950 ton electric injection molding machine, had not been effectively trained on how to properly deenergize and lock out press when reaching or climbing into press area.
