29 CFR 1926.451(b)(5)(ii): The end of a platform greater than 10 feet in length extended over its support more than 18 inches and the platform was not designed and installed so that the cantilevered portion of the platform is able to support employees without tipping, or has guardrails which block employee access to the cantilevered end: (a) North side of residential structure; A 20-foot Werner brand aluminum scaffold stage, used as a work platform of a ladder jack scaffold system, extended more than 18-inches over the east and west bracket supports. The cantilevered end(s) were not properly supported and were not equipped with guardrail to restrict employee access. (b) Southwest side of residential structure; A 24-foot Werner brand aluminum scaffold stage, used as a work platform of supported scaffold system, extended more than 18-inches over the west bracket support. The cantilevered end was not properly supported and was not equipped with guardrail to restrict employee access. (c) Southeast side of residential structure, lower roof; A 20-foot Werner brand aluminum scaffold stage, used as a work platform of a ladder jack scaffold system, extended more than 18-inches over the east bracket support.
