29 CFR 1910.307(c): Equipment, wiring methods, and installations of equipment in hazardous (classified) locations were not intrinsically safe, approved for the hazardous (classified) location, or safe for the hazardous (classified) location. On or about June 8, 2023, Ullman Oil Company LLC at the location of 120 East Lake St. Ravenna, OH 44266, drivers were tasked to utilize their personal cell phone and/or smartwatch at the west side loading and unloading rack, to maintain and time proper flow rates of Category 1 or 2 flammable liquids, or Category 3 flammable liquids to include but not limited to gas, kerosene, diesel, dyed diesel, clear diesel and heating oil, due to flow meters being located within the underground storage tank pits and not visible to drivers during loading/unloading operations.
