29 CFR 1910.146(g)(1): The employer did not provide training so that all employees whose work was regulated by 29 CFR 1910.146, Permit required confined spaces, acquired the understanding, knowledge, and skills necessary for the safe performance of the duties assigned under 29 CFR 1910.146: (a) Building F2, pallet rack blasting and paint line area; On or about May 11, 2023, confined space entry training was not provided to inform employees of the hazards within each confined space, entrant requirements, attendant requirements, atmospheric monitoring requirements, rescue procedures, and how to contact emergency services for areas prior to entry of confined spaces, such as the Viking brand media blaster.
