29 CFR 1910.25(b)(4): The employer must ensure that stairway landings and platforms are at least the width of the stair and at least 30 inches (76 cm) in depth, as measured in the direction of travel: a) On or about January 27, 2023, to July 3, 2023, at an establishment at 2099 Badgerland Drive in Green Bay, WI; the employer did not ensure that the landing on the mezzanine level coming down the stairs from the catwalk above Receiving Pits A & B was at least the width of the stairs, exposing employees to trip and fall hazards. b) On or about January 27, 2023, to July 3, 2023, at an establishment at 2099 Badgerland Drive in Green Bay, WI; the employer did not ensure that the landing on the mezzanine level was at least 30 inches in depth, as measured in the direction of travel going up the yellow stairway to the the Titus Grinding Room and the catwalk above Receiving Pits A & B, exposing employees to trip and fall hazards.
