29 CFR 1926.102(a)(3): The employer did not ensure that each affected employee who wears prescription lenses while engaged in operations that involve eye hazards wears eye protection that incorporates the prescription in its design, or wears eye protection that can be worn over the prescription lenses without disturbing the proper position of the prescription lenses or the protective lenses. (a) Jobsite located at 92 Limerock Road, Smithfield, RI 02917: On or about 11/10/2022, employees who wear prescription glasses were not using protective eyewear when working with power tools. At the time of the inspection, no safety glasses were available on-site for employee use.
