29 CFR 1910.107(g)(2): All spraying areas were not kept as free from the accumulation of deposits of combustible residues as practical, with cleaning conducted daily if necessary: a) SS Industries - White Shanty Department - On or about November 1, 2022, employees were utilizing a spray booth which had an accumulation of combustible residue on the interior walls from spray painting. The employer did not ensure that spraying areas were kept as free as practicable of accumulations of deposits of combustible residue in accordance with this section. Abatement certification required within 10 days after abatement date. The certification shall include a statement that abatement is complete, date and method of abatement, and states that employees and their representatives were informed of this abatement.
