29 CFR 1926.454(b): The employer did not have each employee who was involved in erecting, disassembling, moving, operating, repairing, maintaining, or inspecting a scaffold trained by a competent person to recognize any hazards associated with the work being performed. Location: 2441-A Boston Rd, Bronx, NY 10467 a) On or about May 14, 2022, the employer did not ensure that the employee who erected the Baker scaffold was properly trained by a competent person to recognize any hazards associated with the patching and painting work performed from the scaffold. Note: In addition to abatement certification, the employer is required to submit abatement documentation for this item, failure to comply will result in an additional penalty of $1,000.00 as per 29 CFR 1903.19.
