29 CFR 1910.132(d)(1):The employer did not assess the workplace to determine if hazards are present, or are likely to be present, which necessitate the use of personal protective equipment (PPE). On or about May 3, 2022 and times prior there to, the employer had not conducted an assessment to determine if hazards were present in the following: a) Three Ovens located in the Vacuum Building exposing employees to excessive heat when handling the product without proper PPE; b) Employees not using gloves to handle Rovicore fiberglass matting material in and near the Chopping Room; c) Employee not using protective gloves to handle LHPC2700-TP STYPOL Resin material in and near the Chopping Room.
