29 CFR 1910.134(f)(1): The employer did not ensure that employee(s) required to use a tight-fitting facepiece respirator passed the appropriate qualitative fit test (QLFT) or quantitative fit test (QNFT): a) APX Industrial Coatings, Inc. 9473 Lincoln Way West, Saint Thomas, PA, Worksite - Sanding Area. Employee(s) were not provided a qualitative fit test (QLFT) or quantitative fit test (QNFT) on the 3M N-95 (Model 46457) Filtering Facepiece Particulate Respirators, exposing employees to health hazards from aluminum dusts while conducting sanding operations, on or about January 26, 2022. Abatement certification required within 10 days after abatement date. The certification shall include a statement that abatement is complete, date and method of abatement, and states employees and their representatives were informed of this abatement.
