29 CFR 1910.219(f)(3): Sprocket wheels and chains which were seven (7) feet or less above floors or platforms were not enclosed: a.) Tonnard Manufacturing Corp.; sanding department - On or about 11/3/21, and at times prior thereto, an unguarded chain was located on the Curtis Sander in the area below the conveyor belt. The chain was 4 feet from the ground. ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION REQUIRED: Abatement certification is required within 10 days after the abatement date noted on the citation (see below). This certification shall include a statement that abatement is complete, the date abatement was completed, method of abatement, and state that employees and their representatives were informed of this abatement.
