29 CFR 1926.651(j)(2): Employees were not protected from excavated or other materials or equipment that could pose a hazard by falling or rolling into excavations, or by a combination of both if necessary: (a) Groundworks Colorado, LLC DBA Foundation Repair of Western Colorado at 638 Meadow Rd in Snowmass Village, CO 81615: On or about October 1, 2021, and at times prior, employees were working in trenches up to 10 feet 6 inches deep, and excavated materials were placed within 2 feet of the edge of the excavation without protective or retaining devices in place. This exposed employees to struck-by hazards from falling material.
