29 CFR 1910.132(d)(1):The employer shall assess the workplace to determine if hazards are present, or are likely to be present, which necessitate the use of personal protective equipment (PPE). If such hazards are present, or likely to be present, the employer shall: On or before September 23, 2021, the employer did not assess the workplace to determine if hazards are present, or are likely to be present, which necessitate the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) such as, but not limited to, steel toed shoes, chemical resistant gloves, and ATV helmets. Employees are exposed to foot injuries from falling or rolling objects, skin absorption of harmful substances, and head injuries while moving and servicing ATVs and boats.
