29 CFR 1910.157(e)(3): The employer shall assure that portable fire extinguishers are subjected to an annual maintenance check. Stored pressure extinguishers do not require an internal examination. The employer shall record the annual maintenance date and retain this record for one year after the last entry or the life of the shell, whichever is less. The record shall be available to the Assistant Secretary upon request. a. On or before April 21, 2021, the employer did not ensure that the fire extinguisher in the southwest corner of Building 2 near door 21 received an annual maintenance check. b. On or before April 21, 2021, the employer did not ensure that the fire extinguisher near rack B-27 in Building 2 received an annual maintenance check. c. On or before April 21, 2021, the employer did not ensure that the fire extinguisher in the northwest corner of Building 2 received an annual maintenance check. d. On or before April 21, 2021, the employer did not ensure that the fire extinguisher in the northeast corner of Building 2 received an annual maintenance check. e. On or before April 21, 2021, the employer did not ensure that the fire extinguisher on the east side of Building 2 received an annual maintenance check. f. On or before April 21, 2021, the employer did not ensure that the fire extinguisher on the southeast corner of Building 2 received an annual maintenance check. g. On or before April 21, 2021, the employer did not ensure that the fire extinguisher between dock doors 41 and 42 in Building 2 received an annual maintenance check. h. On or before April 21, 2021, the employer did not ensure that the fire extinguisher between dock doors 46 and 47 in Building 2 received an annual maintenance check. i. On or before April 21, 2021, the employer did not ensure that the fire extinguisher on the south side Building 2 near the dock doors received an annual maintenance check.
