Text For Citation: 01 Item/Group: 002B Hazard:
29 CFR 1926.454(a): The employer shall have each employee who performs work while on a scaffold trained by a person qualified in the subject matter to recognize the hazards associated with the type of scaffold being used and to understand the procedures to control or minimize those hazards. The training shall include the following areas, as applicable: a. On or about October 28, 2020, the employer did not have employees who performed work on the Bil-Jax Rolling-Tower Scaffold trained by a qualified person to recognize the hazards associated with the scaffold type being used and to understand the procedures to minimize and control those hazards.
