29 CFR 1910.147(c)(6)(i): The employer did not conduct a periodic inspection of the energy control procedure at least annually to ensure that the procedure and the requirement of this standard were being followed: On or about December 16, 2020, the employer failed to conduct an audit of their written energy control procedures at least annually to ensure they are all inclusive and up to date. The last documented audit of their written program was done in 2009. Employees were tasked with drill bit change oust and machine set ups on the Borghi brush making machines. Employees are exposed to hazards such as but not limited to being struck by or caught in between various parts of the machine due to stored energy being released (electrical, pneumatic and mechanical).
