29 CFR 1910.219(d)(1): Pulley(s) with part(s) seven feet or less from the floor or work platform were not guarded in accordance with the requirements specified in 29 CFR 1910.219(m) and (o): a. On or about February 20, 2020, at the 39 Line, the employer did not ensure that the splined pulleys less than seven feet from the floor and behind the reel of Take-up machines including ,but not limited to 33, 32, and 31, were guarded in accordance with the requirements specified in 29 CFE 1910.219(m) and (o). This exposed the employees to caught-in injuries from rotating pulleys. b. On or about February 20, 2020, at the 39 Line, the employer did not ensure that the splined pulleys less than seven feet from the floor and at the middle of Take-up machines including, but not limited to machine 33 were guarded in accordance with the requirements specified in 29 CFE 1910.219(m) and (o). This exposed the employees to caught-in injuries from rotating pulleys.
