OSH ACT of 1970 Section (5)(a)(1) The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees: Location: The yard @ Station 980, Tupper Rd. East Sandwich, MA On or about October 8, 2019, a grounding cable was clamped to a mechanically incorrect grounding clamp, posing a risk that if the cable were to fall out of the grounding clamp without the hot end first being removed with a live line tool and without the employee wearing gloves protective against the current created by the voltage induced in the line, the employee would be exposed to a recognized hazard causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm, contrary to section 5(a)(1) of the Act.
