29 CFR 1915.84(b): 29 CFR 1915.84(b): The employer did not account for each employee by sight or verbal communication: a) CVN -73: On or about 08/19/2019, a construction supervisor required to inspect void spaces was not accounted for throughout his work shift by sight or verbal communication, while traversing through areas between 20-40 feet in height without fall protection. Abatement certification and documentation required within 10 days after abatement date. The certification shall include a statement that abatement is complete, the date and method of abatement, and state that employees and their representatives were informed of this abatement. Abatement documentation shall include documents demonstrating that abatement is complete, such as evidence of the purchase or repair of equipment, photographic or video evidence of abatement or other written records.
