29 CFR 1910.28(b)(2)(i): The employer did not ensure employees in a hoist area were protected from falling 4 feet or more to a lower level: a) Worksite: Employees operating the McCarter Iron Works 20,000 lb. horizontal tank/chocolate melter were required to stand and receive material on a platform approximately 7 ft. 10 in. above the ground without fall protection; on or about 7/9/19. Note: In addition to abatement certification the employer is required to submit abatement documentation for this item in accordance with 29 CFR 1903.19.
