29 CFR 1910.252(a)(3)(ii): All hollow spaces, cavities, or containers were not vented to permit the escape of air or gases before preheating, cutting, or welding was performed: a) On or about June 24, 2019, in the Welding shop where new fuel tanks were recently fitted with used fuel pumps, the employer failed to ensure employees vented tanks of combustible gases before welding was performed, which resulted in the injury of an employee.
