29 CFR 1910.157(e)(1): The employer shall be responsible for the inspection, maintenance and testing of all portable fire extinguishers in the workplace: On or about June 11, 2019; and at times prior thereto; in the production areas, the employer did not ensure mounted fire extinguishers were inspected monthly, employees were potentially exposed to burn injuries. 1. Fire extinguisher located in the employee break area near the exit door was not inspected. 2. Fire extinguisher located at the cabinet and floor area exit was not inspected since 2017. 3. Fire extinguisher located near the sheet rock and wall area was not inspected and had been used.
