29 CFR 1910.106(g)(1)(i)(a): Liquids were not stored in approved closed containers not exceeding 60 gallons capacity, in tanks located underground, in tanks in special enclosures as described in paragraph (g)(i) of this section, or in aboveground tanks as provided for in paragraphs (g)(4)(ii), (b), (c) and (d) of this section: The employer does not ensure flammable liquids stored in containers not exceeding 60 gallons capacity, are approved containers. This violation was observed on or about June 3, 2019, at the go carts garage, gasoline was stored in an unapproved plastic container and exposes employees to fire hazards. Pursuant to 29 CFR 1903.19, within ten (10) calendar days of the date of this citation, the employer must submit documentation describing the steps taken to ensure flammable liquids in stored in containers not exceeding 60 gallons capacity, are approved closed containers.
