29 CFR 1926.1060(a): The employer did not provide a training program for each employee using ladders and stairways, as necessary, which would train each employee in the procedures to be followed to minimize hazards related to ladders and stairways: (a) Jazz Roofing & Restoration LLC, at 372 Pheasant Run, Louisville, CO: On and preceding 11/9/18, the employer did not provide a training program for each employee using ladders and stairways, as necessary, which would train each employee in the procedures to be followed to minimize hazards related to ladders and stairways. Employees were re-roofing a two story multi-family residential structure. Employees accessed the roof using extension ladders. The employer had not provided employees ladder training. This condition exposed employees to an approximate eighteen foot fall hazard.
