29 CFR 1910.28(b)(1)(i): The employer did not ensure that each employee on a walking-working surface with an unprotected side or edge that was 4 feet (1.2 m) or more above a lower level was protected from falling by one or more of the following: Guardrail systems, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems: a) On or about 10/30/18 on the roof at the west side of the cold storage building; employees were exposed to a fall hazard of 20 feet when the area on the roof around the entrance to the ladder way, used to access the cold storage roof, was open and without any protection from falling off the roof. ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION REQUIRED
