29 CFR 1910.178(q)(7): Industrial trucks were not examined before being placed in service and were placed in service when the examination showed condition(s) that would adversely affect the safety of the vehicle. Examinations were not made at least daily. Where industrial trucks are used on a round-the-clock basis, they were not examined after each shift. a) Sealed Line/Yard Area - On or about 9/24/2018 (accident day), the employer exposed employees to struck-by hazards, in that employer failed to ensure that Kalmar Hostler trucks werer examined before each shift.
