29 CFR 1928.57(a)(11): Whenever a moving machinery part presented a hazard during servicing or maintenance, the engine was not stopped, the power source disconnected, and all machine movement stopped before servicing or maintenance was performed. For the employee unclogging the corn header on or about August 28, 2018 and times prior there to, the employer did not assure all power was dissipated or provide guarding to protect employees from unexpected energy when servicing equipment in the field.
