Text For Citation: 01 Item/Group: 002B Hazard:
29 CFR 1910.30(a)(3): The employer must train each employee in at least the following topics: (i)The nature of the fall hazards in the work area and how to recognize them; (ii) The procedures to be followed to minimize those hazards; (ii) The procedures to be followed to minimize those hazards; and (iv) The correct use of personal fall protection systems and equipment specified in paragraph (a)(1) of this section, including, but not limited to, proper hook-up, anchoring, and tie-off techniques, and methods of equipment inspection and storage, as specified by the manufacturer. On or about April 20, 2018 and thereafter at the 113 N. Western Ave., Waupaca, jobsite; the employer did not train the workers how to recognize the need for personal protective equipment such as fall protection.
