29 CFR 1910.179(j)(3): A complete periodic inspection of crane(s) had not been conducted in the past 12 months: On or about April 12, 2018, a complete periodic inspection of the cranes was not performed. Employees use the overhead cranes throughout the departments to move large steel stock and large parts from storage to machinery. The employer was using a monthly cable, drum and hook inspection sheet as their annual inspection of their cranes.
