29 CFR 1926.452(w)(7): The mobile scaffold platform extended outward beyond the base supports of the scaffold and outrigger frames or equivalent devices were not used to ensure stability. Scaffolds. Scaffolds used in general industry must meet the requirements in 29 CFR part 1926, subpart L (Reference 1910.27(a): Scarborough Boatworks: Employees were allowed to work on platform that was extended beyond the scaffold base supports. This resulted in an employee being injured when he fell off the manufacture unapproved attached platform.
