29 CFR 1910.157(e)(3): Portable fire extinguishers were not subjected to an annual maintenance check: Applies to any extinguishers provided in the workplace. On or about February 22, 2018: Employees working in the facility located at 1527 Highland Avenue are exposed to smoke and fire hazards where the fire extinguishers had not been serviced since April 2016. The U.S. Postal Service was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1910.157(e)(3), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1201606, citation number 1, item number 2 and was affirmed as a final order on 3/29/2017, with respect to a workplace located at 11251 Rancho Carmel Drive, San Diego, CA 92199.
