29 CFR 1910.133(b)(2): The employer did not demonstrate that protective eye and face protection devices used by employees are at least as effective as protective eye and face protection devices that are constructed in accordance with one of the consensus standards. On or around March 6, 2018 at the Marathon Petroleum Galveston Bay Refinery the employer did not demonstrate that protective eyewear relied upon by its employee are at least as effective as protective eyewear that is constructed in accordance with the ANSI Z87.1 consensus standards.
