29 CFR 1910.179(j)(1)(i): Prior to initial use, all new and altered cranes were not inspected to insure compliance with the provisions of 29 CFR 1910.179(j): a) Hydro Laboratory- On or about February 15, 2018, the employer failed to ensure that after the inspection of new hoists on the East and West Cranes that a full inspection was performed of each crane prior to being placed into service. No abatement certification or documentation is required for this item.
