29 CFR 1910.177(g)(7): Tires shall not be inflated when any flat, solid surface is in the trajectory and within one foot of the sidewall: The employer is failing to protect employees from struck-by hazards. This violation was most recently documented at a worksite located at or near 88818 543 Ave., Bloomfield, Nebraska, 68718 on January 18, 2018. The employer failed to ensure that an employee was prohibited from inflating single rim tires on a flat surface. Abatement certification and abatement documentation is required for this violation. The documentation should include written verification of abatement, applicable measurements or monitoring results, and photographs or videos which you believe will be helpful. The abatement certification sheet is enclosed.
