29 CFR 1910.134(d)(1)(iii): The employer did not identify and evaluate the respiratory hazard(s) in the workplace; including a reasonable estimate of employee exposures to respiratory hazards and identification of the contaminant's chemical state and physical form: a) Pinnacle Powder Coating, Inc. located at 61 Saint Marys Street in Norwalk, Ohio; On or about December 18, 2017 the employer did not conduct an evaluation to determine the respiratory hazards associated with electric powder coating after the installation of the Nordson Corporation; Electrostatic Powder Coating System in approximately 2009. Employees were exposed to hazards associated with exposures to particulates not otherwise regulated containing 1,3,5-Triglycidyl Isocyanurate while applying powder paint such as, but not limited to, irritation to the eyes, throat, skin, and upper respiratory system, hematologic effects, and male reproductive damage.
