29 CFR 1910.23(b)(10): The employer did not ensure any ladder with structural or other defects was immediately tagged "Dangerous: Do Not Use" or with similar language in accordance with 1910.145 and removed from service until repaired in accordance with 1910.22(d), or replaced: a) Maintenance Department: On or about November 17, 2017, and at times prior to, employees who used ladders to store and retrieve items on racks were exposed to fall hazards while they worked from a portable ladder with bent components that was not tagged and removed from service. b) Hopper Line 1: On or about November 17, 2017, and at times prior to, employees used ladders were exposed to fall hazards while they worked from a portable ladder with bent components that was not tagged and removed from service. c) Hopper Line 2: On or about November 17, 2017, and at times prior to, employees used ladders were exposed to fall hazards while they worked from a portable ladder with bent components that was not tagged and removed from service.
