29 CFR 1910.147(d)(3): All energy isolating devices that were needed to control the energy to the machine or equipment were not physically located and operated in such a manner as to isolate the machine or equipment from the energy source(s): (a) SERVICE GARAGE - Employees performed servicing and maintenance activities on vehicles, including a 2000 MCI D Series 47 passenger Motor Coach, and the employer did not ensure that the employees had utilized any means to secure the bus from unwanted movement, which thereby exposed employees to serious injuries, on or about October 31, 2017. Abatement certification required within 10 days after abatement date. The certification shall include a statement that abatement is complete, date and method of abatement, and states employees and their representatives were informed of this abatement.
