29 CFR 1910.217(e)(3): Training of maintenance personnel. It shall be the responsibility of the employer to insure the original and continuing competence of personnel caring for, inspecting, and maintaining power presses. a) The employer did not train maintenance employee(s) on how to inspect the Bliss Mechanical Power Presses that had been modified to ensure that components including but not limited to the additional clutch brakes and air dump valves are operational in accordance with manufactures preventive maintenance schedule and requirement.
