29 CFR 1910.184(i)(1): Synthetic web sling(s) were not marked or coded to show rated capacities for each type of hitch and type of synthetic web material: a) On or about July 19, 2017, Trend Technologies, LLC did not ensure that synthetic web slings used with a 5-ton Harrington Hoist, Model Number ES3B-883, Serial Number 633874, to lift and suspend die assemblies were marked or coded to show the rated capacity of the slings. In accordance with 29 CFR 1903.19(d), abatement certification is required for this violation (using the CERTIFICATION OF CORRECTIVE ACTION WORKSHEET), and in addition, documentation demonstrating that abatement is complete must be included with your certification. This documentation may include, but is not limited to, evidence of the purchase or repair of the equipment, photographic or video evidence of abatement, or other written records.
