29 CFR 1910.1025(d)(2): An initial determination was not made to determine if any employee may be exposed to lead at or above the action level. a) On June 28, 2017, eWorks Electronic Services, Inc. did not perform an initial determination to establish if any employees were exposed to lead at or above the action level. Air monitoring conducted on July 19, 2017 indicated that an employee working on the Cathode Ray Tube Line was exposed to lead at a concentration of 69 µg/m3 as an 8-hour time-weighted average, which exceeded the permissible exposure limit of 50 µg/m3 by approximately 1.38 times.
