29 CFR 1910.215(b)(9): The distance between the abrasive wheel periphery(s) and the adjustable tongue or the end of the safety guard peripheral member at the top exceeded one fourth inch: a) IRECO Machining Center-7300 BLDG- On December 21, 2016, the employer did not ensure that all abrasive wheel machinery, such as the DeWalt 8 inch Bench Grinder, was equipped with an adjustable tongue guard over the abrasive wheel. b) Production Department- On December 21, 2016, the employer did not ensure that the distance between the abrasive wheel periphery and the adjustable tongue guard or end of the safety guard member on all abrasive wheel machinery, such as the two DeWalt 8 inch Bench Grinders, did not exceeded one fourth inch.
