29 CFR 1910.157(e)(3): Portable fire extinguishers are not subjected to an annual maintenance check: The employer does not ensure portable fire extinguishers located in the front building are subjected to annual maintenance checks. Employees are exposed to fire hazards in that a portable fire extinguisher found in the front building near the time cards was last inspected in July of 2009. This violation was most recently observed on October 5, 2016 and October 12, 2016. To abate this violation the employer must ensure portable fire extinguishers located at the facility are inspected annually.
