29 CFR 1910.1000(a)(2): Other substances -- 8-hour Time Weighted Averages. An employee's exposure to any substance in Table Z-1, the exposure limit of which is not preceded by a "C", shall not exceed the 8-hour Time Weighted Average given for that substance any 8-hour work shift of a 40-hour work week. a) On October 14, 2016, the Line #1, Machine #3 Operator was exposed to 160% of the 8-hour Time Weighted Average exposure limit for Particulate Not Otherwise Regulated Total Dust. The 8-hour Time Weighted Average exposure limit for Particulate Not Otherwise Regulated (Total Dust) is 15 mg/M3. The Line #1, Machine #3 Operator was exposed to a Particulate Not Otherwise Regulated (Total Dust) 8-hout Time Weighted Average of 24 mg/M3 over a 445 minute time period.
