29 CFR 1926.1060(a)(1): The employer did not provide a training program for each employee using ladders as necessary, enabling each employee to recognize hazards related to ladders and the procedures to be followed to minimize these hazards: (a) On or about August 5, 2016, and at times prior, Esquivel Roofing Limited did not provide effective ladder training to ensure the recognition of ladder hazards and the procedures to be followed to minimize these hazards. Employees were exposed to fall hazards of up to 13 feet while using ladders to access roofs from a single family residential home. Abatement Note: Abatement certification and documentation are required for this item (see enclosed "Certification of Corrective Action Worksheet").
